Gecko House

 John and I bought the land we built Gecko on over 12 years ago. Having always wanted a bit of Africa we designed her ourselves and had tenants in over the next few years. We have seen Hoedspruit and the area expand and flourish over the years into a thriving, multi cultural place. There is so much to see and do along with relaxing and just watching life go by.

 

Having recently had more time to spare we moved in for a few months and completely refurbished the house. Spending many happy hours haggling with the locals over prices for wickerwork chairs and beaded Giraffes!

 

She is now very ready to accept guests!
